It Was All A Dream
Skipped a whole day yesterday.  It was a long, hard day in terms of SG work and 1NU work.  It payed off in the end but it came at the sacrifice of my personal and academic productivity.  I need to complete my deal summaries today, write two papers, and attend 6 or so hours worth of meetings plus a dinner appointment. I don’t remember what I dreamed about but I certainly have an important...

If I Should Die Before I Wake
Round 2, I missed my mark.  I started my reading for my fifth task and am comfortable with finishing it on Saturday, and I couldn’t figure out what the essay question is for my film class essay due on Tuesday - my fourth task for Friday.  Looks like Saturday night after a day of interviews and a funeral of a family member I will be back to the books to get a couple extra things done....

Johnny: Well... I didn't think you had it in you.
Doc: I'm your huckleberry..
Doc: Why, Johnny Ringo. You look like somebody just...walked over your grave.
Johnny: Fight's not with you, Holliday....
Doc: Oh, I beg to differ, sir. You and I started a game we never got to finish. Play for blood, remember?
Johnny: I was just fooling about.
Doc: I wasn't.

It Was All A Dream
I got up this Friday feeling good.  But then I realized I needed to dress nicely and prepare for two important meetings this afternoon.  Bummer… I also have a meeting in thirteen minutes so I won’t be finishing this post until after that ****Break**** Okay now I’m back.  Far later in the day for this message to hold its original intent of being a morning outlook.  But I was...

If I Should Die Before I Wake
I can’t see the keys on my keyboard.  It’s 4:20AM and I am wide awake.  I’ve changed my sheets, posted photos to flickr, cleaned my office, mastered Apple’s “Things” application, and have finally reached the unreachable point of email enlightenment (0 emails in the inbox and 0 in the follow-up folder).   If I don’t wake up tomorrow morning - the most...

It Was All A Dream
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.  I woke up this morning unsure of whether I wanted to go to my political philosophy class.  Every morning I search for wake-up motivation.  I’d like to make a point to start remembering the pieces of my dreams that are particularly insightful, or bring me happiness.  If I keep those things in my mind throughout the day life rolls smoothly and...
